New Messaging, New Media for a New Generation
At a time of challenging economic realities, no one is suffering more than our children.
The 82nd Legislative Session left many of children’s most pressing needs unaddressed and vital programs underfunded. In response, we must change the way we approach advocacy and come up with new ways to think about reform.
Join CHILDREN AT RISK, Houston A+ Challenge, and other child advocacy organizations for this engaging event, where we’ll explore innovative solutions and build creative messages for advocating for our children.
At this year's Summit, public officials, community leaders, and local and national experts will demonstrate how creative tools and new messaging can change the way we think about advocacy and transform our ability to reach our constituents and legislators -- and ultimately contribute to our children’s success.
A broad range of issues will be covered, including a status update on the children of Harris County, effective parenting, education reform, Latino children and much, much more.
